On the way to the park, Tom saw other kids with their own balls and jerseys. They all seemed eager, just like him. At the park, his friends—Mike, Sarah, and Lisa—were already there, stretching and warming up. "Ready to start!" Mike called out, bouncing his ball.
The game began. Tom dribbled the ball skillfully, weaving past the defenders. He passed the ball to Sarah, who scored the first goal! Tom cheered loudly. But the other team was strong. They tried to steal the ball, and once, Tom lost his balance and the ball rolled away. "Don't worry, Tom!" Lisa said, picking up the ball. "We'll get it back!"
In the final minutes, Tom had a chance to score. He ran towards the goal, took a deep breath, and kicked the ball with all his might. The ball flew into the net! The crowd cheered. Tom jumped with joy, his heart full of excitement.
As the game ended, Tom felt tired but happy. He hugged his friends, and they all agreed to play again next week. "Football is the best!" Tom said, already planning his next move.
